Uvikon and UviLite spectrophotometers are accompanied by powerful but easy to use software packages for standard and optional applications.

LabPower Junior software is included with all Uvikon XS and XL and UviLight PC, and is can also be used as an option with the UviLight XS and XTD models.

LabPower Junior available Analytical Methods:

Fixed Wavelength: Provides data in AU, %T or concentration. Calibration curves with up to 33 standards via linear and quadratic regression or linear integration.

Wavelength Program: Allows data acquisition at 2 to 14 wavelengths. Real time or post run calculation of ratios and differences . Wavelength Scan: Provides a variety of scan parameters to optimise individual measurements. Spectrum re-scaling is automatic or user defined. Real time or post run calculations include automatic baseline subtraction, peak and/or valley determination, curve overlay and derivative calculation.

Time Drive: Provides a selection of sampling rates to allow very high speed kinetics or slow kinetics up to 15 hours. Real time and post run calculations available are similar to wavelength scan plus kinetic activity calculations.

Autorate Assay: Allows parallel kinetic measurements of up to 10 samples using 6+6 cell changer. Calculations similar to Time drive.

LabPower Junior Calculation functions:

Enzyme Activity by linear regression, Calibration function, Curve addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, 1st to 4th order Derivatives, Wavelength ratio and difference, Multi-cursor with co-ordinates, Zoom function, Peak/valley detection, Curve overlay, Graphical or tabular display. Data files can be directly converted into MS Excel and ASCII format.

 

LifePower-TM software is the perfect tool (in combination with the Uvikon spectrophotometer) for Nucleic Acid melt point and thermal analysis applications, with complete software control of temperature gradients and automatic calculation of the melt point.

LifePower-TM software features:

Uvikon LifePower can analyse up to 10 parallel samples in one experiment at up to 6 wavelengths.

Automatically calculates the TM-value for each individual sample. The results are shown graphically and can be easily converted to ASCII or Excel format for further calculations.

Directly controls the Uvikon spectrophotometer and Thermosystem during the run and allows user definition of temperature gradients.

During the data acquisition, the temperature and absorbance of the sample can be read in real time from the Instant display. The start and end time are also reported.

For advanced applications, LifePower software offers 3-d data acquisition capability.

Fully CFR21 part11 compliant.

LifePower-TM Functions:

UV VISion software packages are fully GLP and CFR 21 part 11 compliant software packages for Uvikon spectrophotometers, with the same versatile functionality as LabPower software.

UVSX software is designed to run with the Uvikon X series spectrophotometers, and UVS900 is designed as an upgrade for older Uvikon 900 models (in conjunction with a hardware upgrade to allow more modern computing power to be used).
