The Synergy™ HT design delivers uncompromising performance, in fluorescence, luminescence and absorbance measurements. The Synergy HT utilises a unique dual optic design, with a tungsten halogen lamp, interference filters and PMT detector for fluorescence and a high-energy Xenon flash lamp and monochromator for absorbance measurements. For fluorescence the tungsten lamp produces constant high intensity light for maximum sensitivity and repeatability. Specially designed interference filters with different bandpasses allow the scientist to tailor their measurements more closely to their experimental requirements. A wide range of available filters make these instruments suitable for most fluorescence applications. For luminescence, the low noise PMT is operated in Digital Photon Counting mode to give superior performance. When used in Absorbance mode, the Synergy HT switches to a xenon flash lamp which emits both UV and visible light. Wavelength selection is via a monochromator, providing wavelengths from 200 to 999nm in 1nm increments. Time Resolved Fluorescence (TRF) and Reagent Dispenser options are also available. All Synergy HT models have 4-Zone™ temperature control to ensure optimal temperature stability; important during kinetic assays, and a robot accessible carrier for automation using the Bio-Stack™, or integration in to larger automated systems.
