PowerWave HT Microplate Spectrophotometer

PowerWave™ HT sets new standards in speed, accuracy and reliability from a microplate scanning spectrophotometer.

Microplate spectrophotometers offer the user the possibility to read at any wavelength within the range, without the need for filter changes, and method development becomes easy, as spectral scanning allows the optimum wavelength to be determined in any microplate well.

PowerWave HT is a multi-channel reader for maximum speed in both 96- and 384-well plate formats. Its rugged hardware, proven optical performance and extremely small footprint mean that, whether used stand-alone or in an automated system, the PowerWave HT provides flexibility for multiple applications, including endpoint, kinetic and spectral scanning modes, while consuming minimal space.

4-Zone™ temperature control to 50°C, user programmable shaking, easy access for most robot microplate handling devices, including BioStack, and ultra fast Sweep read mode are all standard features of this high performance microplate spectrophotometer.

PowerWave HT comes equipped with powerful Gen5™ PC-based control and data analysis software.

Spectral scanning from 200-999nm
Choice of reading speeds:
- Normal mode - 8 lamp flashes per well to give Abs reading. If reading is greater than 2.0Abs, then the well is read with 64 lamp flashes to give an assured result at high absorbance.
- Rapid mode uses 8 lamp flashes per well regardless of the absorbance result.
- Sweep mode meerts the challenge of high throughput requirements. An entire 96-well plate is read in 5 seconds
Choice of spectral scanning speeds.
