The ELx50™ is an extremely compact, fast and versatile automated microplate strip washer, which allows full control of fluid delivery from a gentle drip to the full force of a pressure delivery system.

The patented 16-channel Dual-Action™ manifold allows independent control of dispense and aspirate manifolds for overfill washing in both 96- and 384-well formats. In 96-well format, it provides unrivalled performance by using two sets of dispense and aspirate tubes per well to guarantee superior washing and low volumes.

8-channel and 12-channel 96-well only options are also available at lower cost.

The ELx50 is the perfect solution for low volume users of both 96- and 384-well microplates.

BioTek have now expanded the popular ELx50 range with the ELx50 FMW, which allows washing of both conventional solid bottom plates and also filter bottom plates. The ELx50 FMW's unique filter plate aspiration carrier accomodates a range of filter pore sizes and fluid viscocities using user selectable vacuum settings and aspiration times.
